Lanyard System

We will continue to use the system, but are simplifying it. It's essential to respect these signals and understand what each color signifies. This year we will not have the red lanyards, the default is that a person is not looking for romantic or sexual interactions.

  • No Lanyard: This signifies that the person is not interested or not available for romantic or sexual interactions.

  • Yellow Lanyard: This indicates that the person may approach you if they are interested and you are wearing a green lanyard, but you should no approach them

  • Green Lanyard: The symbolizes that the wearer is available for romantic or sexual interactions. If you're interested strike up a conversation and get to know each other better.

Remember, no matter which color someone is wearing, it is not a substitute for consent. Always prioritize clear and enthusiastic consent in any interaction. Respecting these lanyard signals helps create a more comfortable and respectful environment for everyone.
